A lot is being said about state of our planet, with the emphasis on environmental awareness, and the role that each of us can play to protect our planet. On April 22nd
the world celebrated Earth Day. As an organic grower, our mission is to broaden the environmental movement worldwide and to educate people to take responsibility
for a clean and healthy environment. I came across a very interesting article on the National Geographic web site that I would like to share. The article deals specifically with the Proteaceae industry, and the impact climate change has on our industry.

Mother's Day, Mom's birthday, and my folks anniversary are all within a week of each other.
Both of my parents, but ESPECIALLY MY AILING MOTHER, are pleased to tears by your arrangement.

Sent my friend in Florida an order via your internet site. Easy to use and good communication from the Brills. As for the Proteas, well my friend was rushed to tears and called to scream with delight. She said her kittens loved the tissue as well! IMPORTANT MESSAGE – We are undergoing scheduled maintenance on our web sites and flower operations from September 24th to October 21st. We will not be able to process any new orders during this time. Recurring orders and orders placed before September 24th will go out as scheduled. Due to our continued growth, we are changing, but, staying the same. We sent flowers to my parents in Chicago for Thanksgiving. It reminded them of the proteas in Cape Town. The bouquet was huge and they needed more than one vase. Great value and great service.
I was going to write you today because last might I received a call from my friend about the proteas. She said that they were beautiful and so fresh. She didn't have a vase large enough so a couple of the other ladies in the
residence helped her out. They have been doing the arrangements at the
National Cathedral for years and had never seen such beautiful flowers and foliage. Since the arrangement was to large for her apartment she has them in a community room where many residents are thoroughly enjoying them!
I was wondering what was in the arrangement? Thank you for making this gift so wonderful. She was convinced that it must have cost a fortune.

You've made some good improvements since you've become "educated".
I did have a funny feeling when I entered my order...the thank you page came up, but I didn't see anything saying that my order was recieved, or that I'd get a confirming email. I was left with the feeling , "well, did that go through or not?"

Hi Eugene, I receive my flowers the Banksia was lovely, but I wish the proteas was a little bigger and more leaves on them, but I really enjoy them they are on display on my coffee table

Hi Eugene, My sister received her protea seeds and was very pleased and exited she lives in Flordia. She said it was very helpful and the explanations are very easy to follow she cant wait to get started thank you so much and I will keep you in mind if ever needing the unique and interesting. I actually work at a hospital and saw the protea in an arrangement and inquired from the sales staff what the flower was they are beautiful thank you again

Eugene - yes, I rec'd the Protea Starter Pack very quickly - I didn't realize you are located in Valley Center! I have not opened yet pack yet and I'm hoping it has instructions on the best way to start the seeds. I have a grow light which I was thinking of starting them indoors, will that work? And is seed starter medium good for protea seeds? Thanks!

Thanks for the follow-up. It's so lacking in many businesses today. I ordered your flowers for Mother's Day. They arrived as scheduled, well packaged, and in great condition. My Mom really liked them--was enough to fill 2 vases. Keep up the good work!
This is just to let you know I was very happy with the first two orders you shipped for me. But the last one I had you sent to my daughter for her birthday, well I was very disappointed. The all the Protea you sent were Pincushions and nothing else.
Even during the hectic holiday mailing schedule, the flowers for my mom's birthday arrived on time -- on Christmas Eve no less! She absolutely loved them. Thank for for such excellent service.

My son knows how much I adore proteas, so he surprised me with two bouquets for Valentines day. They arrived very well packaged, and when I opened the box, my breath was taken away by the beauty inside. My husband and I love the California landscape and the flowers and accompanying decorative greens transported us from the East coast to there. I would definitely order from you again.
